Foreword

This is a Project on Classical Music and Opera aimed at teenagers (12-16 yo). It may seem that the topic does not appeal to many of them immediately, but with the right activities and games it will!

The idea is to make music enjoyable to the students so that they get interested in when the different pieces were created and by whom. A short History of Music  will follow, along with a dictionary of music, a section on great composers and a definition of Opera after that, accompanied by a list of the most popular operas and their plots.  There will be a section devoted to the best-loved arias and songs too.

There will also be a list of famous Opera Stars of all times, a short biography of the great Diva Maria Callas, some reference to the best concert halls around the world and a number of games to spice things up.
